To the children of Thurman: Your dad was a 
loving and kind person. He was my brother rather an in-law. I remember he and Roma in Lafayette and at Grambling College as well as family. He always was smiling and had a joke to say. Yes, we will miss him so much but we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Children you had a great dad.
