May you find comfort and hope in the promises made by Jehovah,"the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."(2 Corinthians 1:3,4-New World Translation 2013)Jehovah is "the Source" of life.(Psalms 36:9)He never intended for humans to get sick, grow old, or to die. He hates death. He calls death "the last enemy."(1 Corinthians 15:26)Because death is an enemy, Jehovah will do away with it. "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. For Jehovah himself has spoken it."(Isaiah 25:8)Although the death of your loved one is painful, there is hope. Jehovah says: "The hour is coming in which all those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."(John 5:28)He says: "The earth will let those powerless in death come to life.(Isaiah 26:19)He says: "Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up."(Daniel 12:2)You can trust Jehovah's promises. He is "the only true God" who "cannot lie."(Titus 1:2; 2 Kings 19:15)So, "trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."-Isaiah 26:4, Holy Bible King James Version.
